Smite: A New Conquest

12th February 2017

Our experience thus far in SMITE eSports has been one of mixed emotions. Having placed fourth in our first ever split in the official HiRez SMITE Console League (SCL) back in the Summer of Season 3, we were forced into a relegation battle which sadly we were unsuccessful in. Following that blip, we recruited a brand new roster for the Season 3 Fall Split. This roster provided us with a third place finish and an appearance at the Fall Split finals in Alpharetta, Georgia. Whilst the placing was an improvement on the previous split, it unfortunately is not enough to avoid yet another relegation battle.

With relegations only a few weeks away and hopes of retaining our spot for the Season 4 Spring Split, we are excited to announce the roster hoping to step up to this tough challenge.

After a second place finish in the fall split with Cyclone, Bloakley felt that a change was needed and decided to create his own roster to compete for a spot in Season 4. Leading by example as captain and in a new role as Jungler, Theo has built a new roster that contains an electric mix of youthful ambition in combination with raw talent and potential.

Whilst Bloakley is the only player on the roster with previous SCL experience, the rest of the roster are no strangers to the challenger scene on Xbox, putting them in a great position to emerge victorious from the relegations tournament and retain our spot in the SMITE Console League.

Be sure to keep a close eye on @exceL to keep up to date with when you can expect to see the new roster in action.
