Halo: On the Road to Worlds

4th February 2017

It is with great delight that we announce our return to the professional Halo scene, following the acquisition of a new and exciting roster for 2017:

Max “xL Riotz” Cottle
Liam “xL Havoc” Peck
Stuart “xL WarLord” Graham
Daniel “xL Flamez” Young

Riotz is a veteran of the European Halo scene with several tournament wins under his belt, and was a member of the exceL eSports team that qualified for the Halo World Championship last year. Max rejoins us having most recently been a member of Team, Vibe, who finished fourth in the 2016 HCS Europe Pro League.

Havoc is yet another returning Halo pro, having previously competed for exceL at the HWC UK Finals alongside CreepeazY. Another player with experience of LAN events, having competed at several Insomnia events, Havoc rejoins us having previously competed for ViNCO Gaming at the EMEA Regional Finals in Cologne.

WarLord comes to exceL with experience of qualifying for the HCS Pro League during his time with Deception. Following that success, the roster was acquired by Team Infused. He also recently helped guide Bittersweet through the Season 2 promotion/relegation matches and a spot in the HCS Pro League.

Flamez comes to us having most recently been coach at top UK team Epsilon. He brings a wealth of experience on both sides of the monitor, having also represented Dinosaurs as a player, and is sure to add an extra dimension to the roster.

The first order of business for the new roster will be the upcoming Gfinity-hosted EU Regional Finals, where our boys will be hoping to repeat last year’s achievement by earning a spot at the prestigious Halo World Championships. Of course, we’ll be supporting them every step of their journey to the top table of competitive Halo!
