CSGO: Roster Departure

4th January 2017

We would like to officially announce the release of exceL eSports’s CS:GO roster. Following the end of the 2016 season, discussions between the organisation and the players took place regarding plans and ambitions for 2017. As a result of these discussions it was mutually agreed that the contracts with the roster be terminated to allow both parties to pursue other opportunities.

We would like to place on record our sincerest thanks to the roster, Michael ‘GhosT’ Armstrong, Luke ‘EMPEROR’ Ingram, Kory ‘Kryzih’ Da Rocha-Hitt and Karl ‘KoRaL’ Philip, for their time, professionalism and dedication to the exceL eSports organisation. "They have been superb throughout the many months I have worked with them", said Managing Director Joel Holmes-Darby, "they were model professionals with a great deal of enthusiasm and I will continue to support them informally as they continue their competitive careers." We wish them the best of luck on the next step of their journeys in competitive CS:GO and are confident that they will find new representation quickly.

This means we are now looking to recruit a new roster to aid us in achieving our goal of winning both the ESLUK Premiership and the UK Masters, and establishing exceL eSports as the premier Counter-Strike organisation in the UK. We hope to announce a new roster promptly and look forward to continuing to support the growth of competitive CS:GO in the UK.
